My name is Alex and I am an enthusiast for clever design that helps us live better in the spaces we inhabit.

I bring 9 years of practical experience in the Bay Area and Tokyo to my work as an Architect and designer. Experienced in scales of work from a structure, to a chair, to a tool, I relish in bringing together my perspective and offbeat creative approach to tinker and improve on our built environment. 

I believe in simple and efficient solutions to complex requirements, focusing on how to bring clients the most benefit with neat and meaningful moves. Our homes and cities have the opportunity to be physical extensions of our desire to live in a sustainable and balanced world. As a principal close to my heart, I encourage us to practice design responsibly, using only what's truly needed, avoiding waste and excess, and scaled accurately to the purpose. I find this is often where design is at its best, and solutions are delightful and unexpected.
